Meet your guide at your hotel for a drive to Olaya Herrera Airport in Medellín

After you take off, the urban landscape quickly transforms itself into a thick green blanket that is broken only by sinewy threads of fresh water. Even before you land you will feel the humidity take over the atmosphere; breathing in the jungle air, you will become conscious of the importance and richness of the river basin.

A representative of El Cantil’s staff will welcome you at the airport in Nuquí, confirm your return flights and take you to our speed boat, which you will embark towards the lodge.

Flights departing from Medellín are approximately 50 minutes long.

El Cantil Ecolodge Hotel is the best place in Chocó for whale watching and resting in a comfortable, lodge-style hotel. You can see the whales from its restaurant while you enjoy an exquisite seafood or vegetarian breakfast.

Swim in the warm ocean and enjoy one the many activities offered by El Cantil Eco-lodge. These include a boat trip, trekking, fishing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and even surfing (board rentals and lessons also available).  

Wake up in El Cantil for your last morning there. Relax and enjoy the beach. At around mid-day, a speedboat will come to pick you up and transfer you to an even more remote location, Punta Brava.

There discover the 3 stars lodge and enjoy dinner on the beach.

Punta Brava offers visitors the comfort and exclusivity of a home, in a place far away from civilization, where time runs differently and the environment takes away daily routine during stay. It’s a sublime experience in a unique area of the planet.

Wake up at the lodge and select which activity you would like to do.There are a number of hikes and trips to do from the hotel. One of our favourites is: The Jump of the Arusicito. 

Jump of the Arusicito is a route with a high level of difficulty, perfect for walkers with experience in trekking given the distance of the route and the geographical features that are found along the way.

In this guided walk there is the possibility of seeing a great variety of flora and fauna species of the tropical humid forest.  Many of them endemic to the area, and appreciate the 30 meter high waterfall that very few people have had the privilege of knowing.

Enjoy one last morning in paradise, before heading back via private speedboat to Nuqui.

There, jump on a quick flight back to Medellin.
