ITINERARY
The meeting point is at the main entrance of the central wholesale market, right outside the Metro Plus station of the same name: Minorista.
We will start by tasting fruits that are native to Colombia and are grown year-round, such as tree tomato (tomate de árbol), guava, and lulo.
Next, we will move on to other fruits that, while also cultivated year-round, are more exotic, including dragon fruit (pitahaya), carob (algarroba), borojó, and cherimoya.
Following that, we will taste cape gooseberry (uchuva), Spanish lime (mamoncillo), sapote, and mango—which, although not listed here, will be available for tasting on the day of the tour.
The experience concludes with the passion fruit family, including maracuyá and granadilla.
