ITINERARY - Medellin day hike
- 8:00 AM – Breakfast at Palacio de los Frijoles
- 8:30 AM – Transfer to the trailhead
- 9:30 AM – Start of the hike
- 1:00 PM – Arrival at La Esmeralda waterfall and lunch
- 1:30 PM – Free time to swim and relax in the natural pool
- 2:30 PM – Hike resumes
- 5:30 PM – End of the activity
- 6:30 PM – Return to our base
Extend your stay in the area of San Francisco by spending the night in a nice country house with beautiful view of the mountains!
On the following day join a rafting trip or visit a cocoa farm in the area.

- This tour starts from our operational base in Cocorna, if you need transport from Medellin or any location, it can be arrange as an extra.
- Ask us for photo & video package, as well as luxury upgrade or tailor-made experiences.
Contact us if you wish to meet us directly at the trail head! If you are a small group, you can save some money by using your own transport to the area!
- A 100% deposit is required 3 days before the trip. For last-minute payment or reservation requests, please contact Expedition Colombia. All payments must be made through our booking platform or via a deposit into our Bancolombia account.
