Our Medellin jungle hike is close to the city and takes you to the top of a very similar geological formation as the rock of Guatape, only it is perched on top of a tall mountain, in the middle of the jungle, overlooking half of Colombia and far off the tourist’s path.

During our Medellin jungle hike, enter the mountains of Eastern Antioquia via 4×4 to reach a small farm at the end of the road. After interacting with local farmers, hike to the summit of a large monolith, overlooking a maze of jungle covered mountains. Enjoy the stunning view over the Andes and the Magdalena valley at the top, before hiking down to the valley for a refreshing swim in the river!

The fitness level required for this hike is 3 out of 5. Expect 3 hours of walking each way for a total of 6 hours of moderate hike.
